Juneau, Alaska

Welcome to The Juneau Gun Club!

Juneau Gun Club (JGC) is an Alaskan Non-Profit Corporation managed by a volunteer board of directors and an active membership of over 200 shooters who assist with many of the duties around the club.  The JGC provides an excellent recreational opportunity to the families of Juneau, with men, women and youth of all ages participating in the programs at the JGC.

Juneau Gun Club Mission Statement:  “Provide the facilities and resources that promote family participation and fellowship within the shooting sports, principally shotgun, with an emphasis on firearms safety, hunter education and competitive shooting.

The Club, which is surrounded by high, forested, and often snow-capped mountains, boasts four voice-activated trap houses and a comfortable newly-remodeled clubhouse. Members can purchase shells, reloading supplies and a variety of Juneau Gun Club caps, patches and shooting accessories.

The JGC sponsors both ATA and PITA competitions on Saturdays once a month and sponsors both a winter and summer trap league.  Check our Calendar tab for shoot dates in any month.  The popular winter league involves more than 130 shooters who compete at night under the bright lights and snow-covered traps.

If you are new to the community and already enjoy the sport or have an interest in learning to shoot trap, come out and meet the members of the JGC.  You’ll be glad you did.
